About Zemi North
Investigative discipline for human and machine-made evidence.
An independent evidence-intelligence practice based in Manitoba, Canada.
Judgment—not machine time—is the product.
Zemi North was created to answer a recurring question across investigations and emerging AI systems: can the claim in front of us be defended?
Kevin’s background spans policing, digital forensic investigation, fraud and forensic leadership, enterprise incident response, information technology leadership, and applied AI. That combination shapes a practice built for evidence that increasingly comes from both people and machines.
Values
Truth over assumption. Evidence over opinion. Independence protected by procedure. Precision in language and method. Curiosity disciplined by rigor.
How AI is used
Automation may assist retrieval, correlation, and pattern proposal on approved infrastructure. It does not make the conclusion, adjudicate the evidence, or sign the report. The examiner remains responsible and able to explain every finding.
Independence and conflicts
Every prospective engagement is screened for conflicts and authority before evidence is accepted. Zemi North does not accept matters involving the founder’s employer, its claimants, or Manitoba public auto insurance.
